LI815 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: IMMUNOQUERY IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

Service in the library field has become mostly twofold. While technology is designed to improve the library experience for patrons, providing service to enable patrons to use advancing technology has become essential.
Today's library catalog is not just books and media, but periodicals both onsite and online.           These databases have become compatible with mobile devices, and anyone can access these resources anytime. Medical practitioners find this especially useful at the point of care so that they can make accurate diagnoses and treatment plans more effectively.

I participated in an online discussion with my class about implementing different technologies in various libraries. My contribution below describes a diagnostic pathology app for cancer--called Immunoquery--and the steps needed to propose the integration of the app into the Intermountain Healthcare database system.
